In addition to supporting the Wahoo Public Schools and its mission, the Wahoo Public Schools Foundation awards over $50,000 in the form of scholarships each year to graduating students. This is made possible through the generous support of private donations to the Foundation.
Since its incorporation in 1988 by the Wahoo Public Schools Board of Education, the Wahoo Public Schools Foundation has existed to provide benefit and support for the Schools in the form of scholarships, building projects, program and faculty support within the District.
The Wahoo Public Schools Foundation gives scholarships to current students, grants to teachers to enhance the classroom and the Charlie Divis award for outstanding service.
WPSF accepts gifts from donor estates in the form of bequests, IRA Beneficiary Designations, Real Estate transfers, and proceeds from Life Insurance and Annuity contracts.
